Korean Beauty in Poster Art: Annual Celebration of Korean Culture Returns to Art Safari Bucharest
“We hope that the Korean artist and the Romanian students and the public will collaborate, sharing their spirit and their sense of art, because we believe that mutual understanding and communication are the basis for increasing the visibility of Korea in Romania. .”
This is what Kap-soo Rim, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, hopes for the upcoming Korean Culture Week, which will take place during the Art Safari event which will take place in downtown Bucharest from October 10 to 16.
Presented by Art Safari in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Romania, the event puts Byoung-il Sun, a multi-award-winning graphic artist from the country, in the spotlight for showcasing his art – titled “Korean Beauty in Poster Art.”
Two special events organized by the artist, “Hangul Typo Stencil T-Shirts Design Class” and “Hangul Calligraphy Event”, are open to students and visitors on October 12 at 10:30 a.m. and October 13 at 6:00 p.m., respectively.
Visitors can buy tickets on the website and at the entrance, for as little as 30 RON, until December 11. In addition to the Korean Week event, the art exhibition is also partnering with the Victoria and Albert Museum in London for its tenth edition.
